The Male Model Music Project is back in Florence for Pitti Immagine Uomo on its 81st edition!
This time 1,072 brands from Italy and the rest fo the world, including capsule collections and special projects expect to face over 7,000 foreign buyers and 13,000 from Italy, in 59,000 square meters of installations, stands and special exhibition rooms that will host an estimated number of 30,000 visitors in total, including fashionistas and members of the press from all over the world.
For this occasion, The Male Model Music Project 'performed' his traditional 'wander around'at the fair and for the very first time, made a selection of brands and items from the upcoming Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 season.

Hat collection from Moveroma designed by Massimiliano Amicucci, renowned costume designer specialized in accesories for opera and performance. The brand has collaborated in the creation of hats for theater and cinema aswell. One of their latest contributions includes the hats from the Sherlock Holmes films!

'IT'S GRAPHICS NOW! The words of the Future' is the leitmotiv of this issue, presenting a tribute to graphic design and visual communication through shapes and symbols from the minds and hands of 14 international graphic designers who were asked to express their views of the future with only one word translated into an image or a logo.
The special graphic settings were present in the main court and various sections of the fair in different sizes, materials and shapes. Pitti Uomo recognizes the importance of symbols and the role of visual communication in the life of the present and the future.
Featured young designers for this project include: Yorel Cayla, Formes-Vives, Julia, Hey Joe, Martin Nicolausson and 9 more.
Monkey(painted with watercolours) by Munich based Bureau Mirko Borsche, was in charge of the topic 'Money', represented by the 'Money King Kong' as a symbol of radical power and the impact of money in the world.
Technology by Martin Nicolausson, intends to express the integration between human and technology, exploring the way machines could help improve the bodies and minds of people in the future.
The mix in paper of 'Now' by We Have Photoshop, 'Share' by Yorel Cayla and 'Forest' by Formes-Vives.
Italian casual fashion designer Joe Rivetto has been acclaimed for creating clothing 'contaminated' by daily visual icons. At his stand you can see several musical references and images from the 60's/ 70's psychedelia.
