Story & photos by Ivan Guerrero

'The Architectural Men's Collection' is the title of Frankie Morello's Autumn/ Winter 2013-14 garment ensemble which is inspired (as the title states) by contemporary architecture, their shapes, colours and volumes featuring graphic patterns (squares, lines, triangles). Bricks, floors, and a building façade combined with the idea of 'Clothing as the architecture of the body'.
For this occasion, Frankie Morello's head designers, Maurizio Modica and Pierfrancesco Gigliotti (see pic below) walked the runway for the first time in one of their shows, with the company of his friend, Italian architect Fabio Novembre paying homage of the key idea of the collection that intended to balance fashion, architecture and design.
