Photos by Ivan Guerrero
Another succesful winter edition of international fashion tradeshow Pitti Immagine Uomo. Now hitting its 85th issue as a leading platform of men's fashion projects and style tendencies, featuring special events, show and exhibitions in Florence, Italy.
The fair's theme was 'Rock Me Pitti' bringing together fashion and music with a special layout project by Oliviero Baldini, recurrent set designer of the Pitti fair. At the opening ceremony of Pitti Uomo 85 held at Palazzo Vecchio, the president Gaetano Marzotto and relevant authorities of Florence presented a preview of the upcoming special project to be held for the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the activities of 'Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana' in coincidence with the 86th edition of Pitti Uomo. The program entitled 'Firenze Hometown of Fashion' will feature a series of special events showcasing born-in-Florence fashion brands such as Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Roberto Cavalli, Emilio Pucci and Ermanno Scervino plus various cultural and Italian fashion related highlights to be revealed closer to the date.
