A selection of my photographs shot backstage during the menswear show on the occasion of the annual fundraiser event Jeffrey Fashion Cares in NYC.
Founded by fashion entrepreneur Jeffrey Kalinsky (owner of Jeffrey, high fashion store) back in 1992 (an additional version of the event held in Atlanta, before being established in NYC), Jeffrey Fashion Cares celebrated its 11th edition following its commitment to supporting organizations that fight discrimination and support LGBT youth and provide services for those living with HIV/AIDS by raising funds with the highest percentage destined to the beneficiaries.
For the 2014 edition, Jeffrey Fashion Cares moved to a new venue, the 69th Regiment Armory and featured Rob Smith as Honorary Guest for his relevant work in LGBT activism.
The program included a VIP reception, cocktails, a silent auction partnered with Gavel&Grand and a menswear fashion show featuring top models wearing a selection garments from top fashion brands, traditionally held for closing the charity evening.
This year's benefits were ACRIA (AIDS Community Research Initiative of America), The Hetrick-Martin Institute, Lambda Legal and The Point Fundation.
Hope you enjoy the backstage sneak peek featured for the very first time at The Male Model Music Project in real attendance at the event. Definitely looking forward to more Jeffrey Fashion Cares in the future!!!
