The international trade fair Pitti Immagine Uomo has concluded its 86th edition with an announced success compared to previous editions. With an increasing numbers of visitors, buyers and press from all over the world, Pitti Immagine also celebrated 'Firenze Hometown of Fashion' on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Centro di Firenze per la Moda Italiana with a launch of a special program of events featuring 4 brands that were born in Florence (Gucci, Pucci, Salvatore Ferragamo and Ermanno Scervino) and other various Italian fashion/art-related projects curated specially for the anniversary schedule in coincidence with the biggest menswear show in Europe.
'Ping Pitti Pong' was the theme of the fair's layout this edition, a metaphor for attitude and elegance, intending to reflect those qualities in fashion and sport.
