Via Gesù in Milan.On the recent opening of the program of events and activities of the 87th edition of Florentine tradeshow Pitti Uomo has presented it's new project 'La Via dell'Uomo' ("Men's Street"), an initiative intended to reinforce its Italian roots and promote Milan's stylish street Via Gesù that connects to Via Montenapoleone and Via Spiga, as the ultimate hub for men's fashion.
Via Gesù has been very famous for hosting a variety of luxury men's brands such as Brioni, Caruso, Stefano Ricci, Luciano Barbera and Acqua di Parma, just to mention a few.
A growing bond between Florence and Milan, 'La Via dell'Uomo' will present its first event on January 17th, 2015 in coincidence with the first day of Men's Fashion Week.
In addition, Pitti Immagine will also support the 'Revelations-Finance for Fine Arts' special program backed by Milan's Pinacoteca di Brera and the Italian Bourse. The restoration of Carlo Dolci's oil painting 'David with the Head of Goliath' will be financed by Pitti and will be featured in a special monographic exhibition dedicated to Dolci set to run at Pitti Palace in Florence from June to October 2015.
